Two Corps Members Died As Vehicle Leap Into River In Enugu State

Two corps members have died in a motor accident, as confirmed by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

Two individuals from Anambra, identified as Giveth Nzubechukwu Okwuowulu and Ada, died after their vehicle veered off a bridge and fell into a river.

An accident occurred on June 6, 2023, at the boundary between Ugbawka and Nara in Nkanu Local Government Area of Enugu State. The victims were traveling from Onitsha to Calabar for their primary assignment.

Two members of the NYSC in Cross River State d!ed in a crash, according to the Coordinator, Andrew Zemoh. He clarified this on June 8, 2023, and stated that reports on social media claiming otherwise were untrue.

Zemoh spoke to Daily Trust and reported that the bodies have been evacuated by parents and officials and taken to a mortuary.

Giveth Okwuowulu, aged 25, is scheduled to be buried on June 14, 2023, in her hometown of Otolo Nnewi, located in Nnewi Local Government Area.
