Theresa Zuniega Identified As Victim Shot Dead Hours After Mother’s Day Celebration In Cebu City

In a tragic incident that occurred on Monday morning, May 15, 2023, a female vendor was shot dead, leaving her six children devastated.

Three of the children were seen grieving after discovering their mother’s lifeless body on the ground. The incident took place just hours after the celebration of Mother’s Day.

A 46-year-old tombstone maker named Theresa Zuniega has been identified as the victim in a recent incident that occurred in a cemetery situated in Barangay Carreta, Cebu City.

As per Police Major Eraño Regidor, who is the head of Mabolo Police Station 4, a certain Zuniega was shot multiple times by an unidentified gunman who arrived on a motorcycle while she was seated near a flower stall.
