According to police, a shooting occurred in Houston’s East End following an argument over the purchase of shoes, resulting in the death of a man.
On Tuesday at approximately 8:24 p.m., the Houston Police Department received a call regarding a shooting in the 4300 block of Capitol Street.
According to HPD Lt. Larry Crowson, an argument broke out over a shoe sales transaction when the victim arrived at a residence in the vicinity.
According to Crowson, an argument erupted regarding the payment, or the amount to be paid.
In the midst of a heated argument, both the victim and the suspect drew their firearms and opened fire.
According to reports, the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the arm. The individual was transported to the hospital and was later declared deceased.
On scene, the suspect was detained.
