Suspect Arrested In The Shooting that Injured A Metro Police Officer Donovan Coble

According to police reports, an alleged suspect has been captured after a Metro Nashville Police officer was injured in a shooting.

In a recent update, it has been reported that the injured officer has been identified as Donovan Coble, a 33-year-old veteran of the MNPD with four years of service. The individual has been taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and is currently in critical-stable condition after sustaining a gunshot wound to their side.

As per the police, he had rushed to the location in response to a complaint about an individual armed with a weapon breaking into parked cars.
