OluchiIn Anderson County, South Carolina, a man and woman were apprehended by authorities subsequent to the discovery of a prosthetic baby belly filled with drugs on the woman.
According to deputies, a woman who was posing as a pregnant mother and her male accomplice were apprehended during a routine traffic stop. The woman’s fake baby bump was discovered to be a prop that was being used to smuggle more than 1,500 grams of cocaine.
As per reports, deputies became suspicious when the couple provided contradictory information regarding the expected delivery date of their newborn.
According to the sheriff’s office, at some point during the stop, the female attempted to flee the scene.
