South Carolina Woman Arrested After Cocaine Falls From ‘Fake Pregnant Belly’ While Fleeing Police

In Anderson County, South Carolina, a man and woman were apprehended by authorities subsequent to the discovery of a prosthetic baby belly filled with drugs on the woman.

According to deputies, a woman who was posing as a pregnant mother and her male accomplice were apprehended during a routine traffic stop. The woman’s fake baby bump was discovered to be a prop that was being used to smuggle more than 1,500 grams of cocaine.

As per reports, deputies became suspicious when the couple provided contradictory information regarding the expected delivery date of their newborn.

According to the sheriff’s office, at some point during the stop, the female attempted to flee the scene.

According to deputies, the contraband fell out from under the silicone stomach she was wearing as she was doing something.

According to the sheriff’s office, a significant quantity of drugs was affixed behind the counterfeit belly by the pair.

According to the sheriff’s office, two individuals have been arrested and are currently facing charges of trafficking cocaine.

The identities of the suspects were not disclosed.
