Shooting In Yuma, Arizona Involving Teens Leaves 2 Dead, 5 Injured

According to authorities, a fatal shooting over the weekend in southwestern Arizona has left two people dead and five others injured, including teenagers. Police are currently investigating the incident.

According to the Yuma Police Department, a shooting occurred on Saturday night at a gathering in a residential area of Yuma. The victims were reported to be between the ages of 15 and 20.

According to a statement by the police, several male gunshot victims were discovered by officers who arrived at the scene shortly before 11 p.m. local time.

According to reports, two young men, aged 19 and 20, were transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center following an incident. Unfortunately, both individuals were pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

According to a statement, the 19-year-old victim was taken to the hospital prior to the arrival of the police, while the Yuma Fire Department transported the 20-year-old victim to the hospital.

A 16-year-old male was transported to a medical center and subsequently airlifted to Phoenix due to severe injuries that were considered life-threatening.

According to police, a number of off-duty officers who were in the vicinity also reacted to the shooting.

Sgt. Lori Franklin, a spokesperson for the Yuma Police Department, stated that investigators were conducting interviews with multiple witnesses on Sunday.

According to the statement, authorities are continuing their investigation and have not yet taken a suspect into custody.
