Shane Garner, Spencer Geerlings and Eric Tatman identified as three killed in Phoenix Air crash

Three people’s names have been confirmed as having died in a crash involving a Learjet owned and managed by Phoenix Air Group, Inc.

The three Georgia flight crew members who perished in a collision off the coast of California have been identified by Phoenix Air.

The confirmed fatalities are Shane Garner, of Taylorsville, Georgia; Spencer Geerlings, of Newnan, Georgia; and Eric Tatman, of Marietta, Georgia.

System Specialist Shane Garner of Taylorsville, First Officer Spencer Geerlings of Newman, and Captain Eric Tatman of Marietta. The collision took place on May 10 at around 7:44 p.m.

Two Phoenix Air Learjets were taking part in a naval drill for the United States. According to reports, the other Learjet safely landed.
