Regina Daniels and her husband, Ned Nwoko, were among the guests invited to honour Queen Elizabeth II’s 70th year on the throne.
The actress, who is expecting her second child with her millionaire husband, was seen in a lovely Ankara gown with puffy sleeves.
The event, which was hosted by the British High Commission in Nigeria, was attended by a number of dignitaries. Regina wrote in the caption of her photo:
“We accepted the British high commissioner’s offer to commemorate the Queen’s 70th year on the throne.”
With great fanfare, Britain is commemorating Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, her 70th year on the throne.
The festivities began on Thursday, June 2 with Trooping the Colour, a military procession in London that featured 1,400 troops in bearskin caps marching beside an Irish wolfhound dubbed Seamus to honour the queen’s formal birthday.
Elizabeth, who is 96 years old, made two appearances on the Buckingham Palace balcony, looking fine in light blue with her gloved hands resting on a cane.
However, the palace later stated that while she “enjoyed” the parade, she “did endure some difficulty” and would miss St. Paul’s Cathedral’s Thanksgiving ceremony on Friday.
