Nicholas James Stark Identified As Suspect In The Murder of Mindi Mebane Kassotis

The suspect in question is Nicholas James Stark. On Thursday, May 11, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) announced that a 40-year-old man has been charged with murder following the identification of his wife’s remains.

The day after the incident, Nicholas James Kassotis was charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, and malicious murder in relation to the death of Mindi Mebane Kassotis. Nicholas Killian James Stark, who also goes by Kassotis, has been accused of tampering with evidence and removing body parts from the scene. In Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he was arrested on Friday, May 12th.

There is no information provided regarding the age of Nicholas Killian. At 40 years old, James Stark is currently in his prime.

On December 2, the remains of a Georgia woman were discovered by hunters in Riceboro, Georgia near a hunting club. On November 27, 2022, the fragmented remains of an individual were discovered in the woods of the Portal Hunting Club.

It is believed that her demise took place one to two weeks prior to her discovery. After months of conducting interviews, advanced laboratory testing, and analyzing genealogy DNA, the GBI was able to identify the remains on May 11.

GBI agents have requested assistance from the FBI in regards to genealogy DNA for their ongoing investigation. In a recent report by Fox News, it was stated that the GBI released a press statement claiming that the FBI utilized a specialized lab for advanced testing, which yielded results that aided in the ongoing investigation.

According to a statement, the GBI conducted interviews with family members and collected DNA swabs for comparison to the genealogy DNA profile.

Pennsylvania’s Lancaster County Prison is currently holding Nicholas James Kassotis, who is set to be extradited to Georgia. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation expressed gratitude to several law enforcement agencies for their aid in the investigation.

These agencies include the FBI, US Marshals Service, East Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, Lancaster Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police, and the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office.

In a previous report by MEAWW, it was stated that a young girl’s body was found dismembered and scattered across a field. The perpetrator had lured her away by offering her candy. Four-year-old Bokgabo Poo was reported missing on October 10 from her residence in Ekurhuleni, South Africa.

According to reports, Ntokozo Zikhali, a 30-year-old individual, was seen outside the Wattville Township property feeding a four-year-old child chocolate just before the child went missing. The following day, the disfigured remains of Bokgabo were found in a nearby field, having been brutally hacked into pieces.

In a startling discovery, a 63-year-old woman stumbled upon the bones of a child while cleaning the area. The woman had noticed human toes protruding from the dirt and upon further investigation, uncovered the remains. After the woman’s discovery, authorities were notified and they confirmed that the body belonged to the four-year-old.
