Officials have identified the deceased employee found in the freezer of an Arby’s restaurant in Louisiana.
The Iberia Parish Coroner’s Office has identified the woman as Nguyet Le, a 63-year-old resident of Texas.
According to a statement from the New Iberia Police Department, Le’s body was discovered last Thursday evening at the Arby’s located on East Admiral Doyle Drive.
Around 6:20 p.m., the body of the individual was discovered inside the walk-in freezer of the restaurant. According to reports, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
KFLY reported that Le held the position of manager. According to the police, there is no suspicion of foul play.
According to New Iberia Police Capt. Leland Laseter, after thoroughly examining the scene, he stated to KADN that the death appears to be an accident rather than a homicide.
As part of the initial investigation, officers conducted interviews with employees of the restaurant.
Officials have stated that an autopsy is currently underway to determine the cause of death, which has not yet been determined.
