Kate Henshaw, a veteran actress, has spoken out about how God protected her from dying in an aircraft tragedy in 2012.
The actress said she almost boarded a plane that was destined to crash in a post on her Instagram page on Friday, June 3, but she was late to the airport, which was rare.
The 50-year-old said she was meant to be aboard Dana aircraft 0992, which crashed on approach to the Lagos airport in 2012, killing all 153 passengers and staff members on board.
Today marks the tenth anniversary of the ill-fated Dana Air flight from Abuja to Lagos. Flight 0992 took off on June 3rd, 2012. Nobody made it… That flight was supposed to be mine. I arrived late at Abuja’s airport. Anyone who knows me can attest to the fact that I am never late for anything… That day, MERCY said no.
“For all the days of my life, His compassion and mercy shall follow me.” Not that I am deserving, yet He saved me from the jaws of death on that fateful day. It is critical to share God’s goodness because it will benefit someone out there. It will remind you of how special you are to Him, and it will keep you grateful.
Keep your feet on the ground.
May all of the dead’s souls rest in peace.
