On Sunday afternoon, a road rage incident broke out between the driver of a Nissan Maxima and the driver of a Ford F-150 at the City Center.
According to police, the incident persisted for a distance of five miles, extending onto State Route 73.

According to reports, the driver of the F-150 veered into the emergency lane before colliding with the Nissan Maxima that was traveling in the eastbound lane.
According to officials, the driver of the Maxima abruptly applied the brakes, causing the driver of the Ford to lose control of the vehicle and veer into the westbound lane, resulting in a head-on collision with a Porsche.
According to Spencer Cannon from the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, the crash was extremely violent and unfortunately resulted in the death of both occupants in the passenger car. Cannon stated that the impact occurred in a way that left the individuals with little chance of survival.
According to eyewitnesses, the car in question veered off course and came to a stop approximately 20 feet away from its original trajectory.
According to deputies, the origin of the road rage incident is still being investigated.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., an accident occurred in the vicinity of mile marker 30. SR-73 was blocked off in both directions for approximately six hours.
According to Cannon, the driver of the F-150 is currently hospitalized with severe injuries. Upon his release, he will be charged with an undisclosed offense.
