Man dies following Saturday night motorcycle accident in North York

In North York on Saturday night, an accident resulted in the death of a 55-year-old man.

According to a statement released by Toronto police on Sunday, the incident happened just after 9 p.m. at the junction of Champagne Drive and Finch Avenue West.

At the time of the crash, the individual was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Finch Avenue West, according to the investigation.

According to the press release, he subsequently “became involved in a collision” with a westbound vehicle. The 42-year-old lady who was the other motorist, according to police, stayed on the scene. The man was taken to the hospital, where he eventually passed away.

Police are requesting anyone who saw the collision or was travelling nearby at the time and has dashcam video to get in touch with them.
