Yvonne Nelson, a Ghanaian actress, has urged women to appreciate their bodies because no one was born or formed flawless.
The 36-year-old offered this advice in a message on her verified Twitter account on Friday, June 3, in response to an online debate about cosmetic surgery triggered by the death of a Nigerian lady who died as a result of botched surgery.
According to Yvonne Nelson, operations would not keep a man, so women should love themselves and work on their mental health.
“Woman, understand this: no one was born/created flawless,” she said. Work on your mental health and learn to appreciate yourself, even if it’s difficult. Pls. Surgeries won’t keep that man, and they won’t make you feel better. Okay, if it’s for business. It ain’t worth it, I can guarantee you.”
