In loving memory of Tracy McCool’s husband, John

Husband of Tracy McCool lost his battle with colon cancer after a valiant five-year battle.

John was a fighter by nature and was skilled in combat. He served in the military and later opened a gym where he trained mixed martial arts competitors. Since receiving his diagnosis in 2018, he had employed all of those useful skills on a daily basis. The outlook for John was never favorable. He didn’t let it alter who he was, though, and he never stopped grinning.

John remained brave during nearly five years of grueling tests and treatments and never gave up the chance to share his experience to benefit others. He even started advocating for causes.
