Hit-and-run crash on I-17 in Phoenix kills a pedestrian

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, an individual on foot was fatally struck in a hit-and-run accident on Interstate 17 in Phoenix in the early hours of Thursday morning.

A collision occurred in the northbound lanes close to the Thunderbird Road exit.

No details have been disclosed regarding the suspect vehicle or the reason why the pedestrian was on the road.

According to reports, the investigation has resulted in the blockage of the two right lanes.
