Following his first wife, Funsho Adeoti’s recent outburst on social media, Mercy Aigbe’s husband, Kazim Adeoti, has broken his quiet.
Funsho had used her social media profile to openly warn her husband and Mercy Aigbe about the house they currently reside in.
On Sunday, Mercy posted photographs and videos of herself at her husband’s residence, which sparked the commotion. Funsho, on the other hand, was not pleased, and warned the thespian to remove the posts within 12 hours.
Mercy ignored the warning and instead shared another video of herself inside the house. This upset Funsho, who then went online to declare that she had paid for the house with her own money and threatened to sue her husband and Mercy. Read more here.
In a statement posted to his Instagram profile, Adeoti has responded to her claims and threats.
He revealed that he built the house himself and that his ex-wife merely purchased some furniture for it, for which he reimbursed a portion of the money.
He went on to say that his first wife compelled him to marry a second wife when she moved to the United States permanently, and that there’s nothing wrong with it because his religion, Islam, allows him to marry many wives as long as he can care for them.
