CEO of Mavins Records, Don Jazzy has given out the huge sum of N1.5 million naira inorder for Nigerian youths to learn coding.
Music executive, Don Jazzy donates N1.5 million for 100 young Nigerians to learn coding
Michael Collins Ajereh, known professionally as Don Jazzy, is a Nigerian record producer, audio engineer, record executive, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is the founder and the CEO of Mavin Records. Don Jazzy was co-owner of the defunct Mo’ Hits Records record label with Dbanj.
After being tagged on an Instagram post by Chizom Echehueuka the founder of Code Hub Africa,that the famous bass singer was appealed to pay bills for at least 100 youths to learn how to code. He made payments of N1.5 million and each person was considered to pay N15k approximately over 100 youths have been paid for by the music star.
The Founder of the Code Hub Africa tweeted :
“Dear @DONJAZZY Please would you like to sponsor 100 Nigerian youths to learn how to code at our online mentorship program (Code Hub Africa Tech). It’s 15k per person. Thank you.

Having seen and read the post, Don Jazzy was moved to make the payment of N1.5million instantly into the founder’s account.
“Just sent 1.5million Naira into your Vbank account” he wrote .
The 38 year old, urgeed Mr Chizom to select randomly serious minded Nigerian youths for the tech programme. Mr Chizom however , thanked the music star and ensured that the selected students would make the nation at large proud .
In his response Mr Chizom wrote
”Baba Don Jazzy, God bless you. The Mentees go make Nigeria proud. History will not forget you baba”.
