The deceased suspect in a Monday morning murder-suicide involving a motorcycle crash in northwest Oklahoma City has been identified as Ernest Glenn Harlow, hailing from Oklahoma.
A tragic incident occurred in Oklahoma City early Monday morning, as 61-year-old Harlow reportedly passed away in a motorcycle accident. Prior to the crash, Harlow was allegedly involved in a domestic dispute, where he is accused of fatally assaulting his wife in their home.
As per reports, Harlow allegedly sent text messages to his family members claiming that he had murdered his wife and intended to commit suicide.
Police were called to a residence near Southwest 36th Street and South Villa Place in Oklahoma City around midnight by family members. Upon arrival, a deceased woman was discovered with injuries consistent with blunt force trauma.
A fatal single-vehicle motorcycle crash occurred near Interstate 44 and Western, involving Harlow who has connections to Texas.
According to police, it is believed that Harlow deliberately caused a fatal accident by crashing his motorcycle into a concrete cable barrier after allegedly killing his wife.
The victim’s name has not been officially released by authorities as they are waiting to notify the next-of-kin.
