Tolanibaj, a former Big Brother Naija season 5 Lockdown reality TV star, has been chastised by Nigerians and social media users for making a conflicting remark during the mourning of deceased worshippers in Ondo State, Nigeria.
On Sunday evening, June 5, Tolanibaj announced on her Twitter page that her new vlog would be released soon.
Nigerians are furious with her, accusing her of expressing no sympathy for the citizens who were shot and killed by unknown gunmen during prayer at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, on Sunday, June 5.
Tolanibaj tweeted, “A new vlog is launching shortly.”

Remember that Ondo State had a horrific Sunday following a devastating attack by gunmen who stormed the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, murdering over 50 people, including children.
After the news of the tragic tragedy surfaced on Sunday afternoon, the entire country was in mourning, with the majority of people pleading with the police and administration to take swift action to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Meanwhile, Nigerians took to Twitter to criticise Tolanibaj for her callous tweet at a time when she was supposed to be speaking out against the heinous murders of her countrymen.
Following Tolanibaj’s callous update about her new vlog, people had a lot of opinions.
“Just put E to the end of your username cuz the kind of curse you’re getting now, your life’s going to Baje,” @attah akor says.
“TBaj knew what she was doing when she tweeted that item because she plainly retweeted a post regarding the Owo incident before her insensitive remark,” writes @itzbasito. She tweeted that “clout is her only means of grabbing attention one way or the other, on deliberately to be in the discourse one way or the other.”
“Sabinus, who is extremely talented, took the cue when he read the room and deleted his skit tweet,” said @SirDavidBent. Tbaj, on the other hand, refused to erase her vlog tweet because of her fufu face. That is a social annoyance.
“Tolanibaj is an example of the phoney Nigerians who aren’t even compassionate towards their fellow Nigerian brothers and sisters,” says @Askimee 449 on Twitter.
“I’m still not sure why we chose to drag celebrities when they tweet something unrelated to a hot problem, Tbaj promoting her video doesn’t add or take away from the ondo issue,” says @Director Bello. Use your intellect and concentrate on the real issue, which is your government.”
@Slutyyy: “This isn’t the first time Tbaj has done something like this; she is constantly seeking attention.” “A complete annoyance.”
“Tolani is a really stupid person for bringing up a Vlog post on a day like this!!!” says @pussypoco. @tolanibaj “Beauty without Brain.”
“Tbaj has always been a foolish twat,” says @realdonchris1. I have a strong desire to always pursue clout. She was aware that it was a dark Sunday, yet she chose to be insensitive.”
“I’m not close to Tbaj,” @GeeKinquest_ says.
