At a meet-and-greet party in Calabar on Monday, popular TikTok Togolese dancer Kelly Bhadie stirred comments on social media after a concert promoter demanded fans pay N100k to see her.
A video of Timi Vibe, the show’s promoter and ardent supporter, pleading with the dancer’s followers to come to the celebration, has gone popular on social media.
For individuals who are interested in seeing Kelly one-on-one, the gate price was set at N100,000 and it will take place in Calabar, according to Timi Vibe.
The devoted supporter of the TikTok celebrity also disclosed that about 17 individuals have already paid and signed up for the performance, but he bemoaned the fact that there aren’t enough attendees.
It is a rare opportunity to meet the TikTok star, so Timi appealed with those who are eager to do everything it takes to earn the money.
“I want to use God and beg Nigerians, the party is 11 days to come and I’ve gotten just 17 people to sign up. I know that the money will be too much but 100k is not too much to see Kelly,100k is not too much please it will be coming up in Calabar and if you don’t have money, beg, borrow, do something,” the show organiser said n the video
Nigerians also flooded Twitter with reactions to the video, expressing disbelief at the price tag needed to view the dancer.
