When certain Nollywood actors were spotted at the APC presidential primaries yesterday night, Tuesday, June 7, Twitter went crazy.
Zack Orji, Gentle Jack, Emma Ehumadu aka Labista, Andy Chukwu, and others were spotted on the podium waving the Nigerian flag while Timi Dakolo’s song, Great Nation, was performed.
Recall Timi Dakolo chastised the ruling party for utilising his music without his permission during the occasion.
This one-of-a-kind performance by the actors has elicited varied comments from Twitter users, who aren’t sure if the actors were there as delegates, supporters, or simply entertainers.
Tweeps’ reactions could be linked to the fact that Nigerians are always whining to the government.
Some internet users believe the performers have the right to support whomever they want, while others believe they did so because of the financial stakes.
