A viral video circulating online has sparked outrage after it showed a Nigerian man nervously proposing to his fiancée in a car using pidgin.
Most women in this generation, Gen Z, are known to prefer grandiose marriage proposals including money and luxury products.
Many proposals have gone wrong recently, both publicly and privately, according to studies showing most women are not ready to settle down.
In the video, the man can be seen sitting in the driver’s seat, while his wife sits in the passenger seat, filming the scene.
Inside his car, the man was videotaped with a ring in his hands, jokingly asking his girlfriend to marry him.
“You go marry me abi you no wan marry me,” he popped the question to his babe. “I will marry you,” his lover replied.
