New images have surfaced of Ukrainian model Alona Savchenko, 24, who was brutally murdered in a high-end condominium in Thailand.
The photos suggest that Savchenko had a penchant for dressing up as a pin-up model and was allegedly inspired by the iconic Marilyn Monroe.
In Bangkok’s Bang Kho Laem area on Monday, the body of Alona Savchenko was discovered with severe slashes and dismemberment caused by a saw. Following this incident, Jan Jerzy Lagoda-Filippow, her Polish businessman partner, was arrested.
According to ViralPress, Lagoda-Filippow, a 25-year-old individual, was apprehended just a few hours after he attempted to cross the Cambodian border. He had allegedly sought the assistance of a taxi driver to dispose of his girlfriend’s remains using Google Translate.
At the time of the event, Alona Savchenko was 24 years old.
According to sources, Savchenko has reportedly done photoshoots for Lagoda-Filippow, who is the owner of a London-based advertising company and other individuals. In the months leading up to her tragic death, Savchenko was captured on camera in various stunning locations across London, Rome, Valencia, and Istanbul.
The young model showcases her hourglass figure and flowing blond curls in a multitude of alluring selfies. In one of the photographs, Savchenko is seen wearing a plunging lilac gown while standing in front of a wall adorned with pink blooms.
The subject is seen in a separate photograph sporting a strapless top and a wistful expression. Her hair is styled in gentle curls, reminiscent of the iconic Marilyn Monroe.
According to her LinkedIn page, Savchenko worked as a marketing specialist for an Estonian corporation when she wasn’t busy with photoshoots and traveling around the world. Last year, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from Zaporizhzhia National University in Ukraine.
Additionally, she recently finished a three-month course in international business at Guangdong University of Finance in China. Formerly, Savchenko held positions as a social media content creator and an English tutor.
No information has been provided by Thai authorities regarding the gruesome murder of the model.
According to reports, Savchenko and her partner allegedly checked into a luxurious Bangkok condominium on April 29. Surveillance footage revealed that the two were seen conversing and smiling in the hallway as recently as last Friday. On Monday afternoon, Lagoda-Filippow was captured on CCTV departing the building with luggage, but without Savchenko.
Acting on a lead from a taxi driver hired by Lagoda-Filippow, personnel from the building and law enforcement officials gained entry to the couple’s residence on the 32nd floor. Upon investigation, they found the lifeless body of 24-year-old Savchenko lying on a bed, covered by a blanket.
