A Male Victim Identified as Victim Killed in Shooting Along Windsor Spring Road

A shooting incident occurred on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Windsor Spring Road and Rosier Road, resulting in the death of one individual.

According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was identified as a male. However, there is currently limited additional information available.

At 5:14 p.m., the staff of Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen was summoned to the location.

At the Get-N-Go convenience store, a shooting incident occurred, resulting in the arrival of patrol cars and observers. The area was cordoned off with yellow tape. From across the street, a larger crowd had gathered to observe the activity.

In the CSRA, the latest incident of violence is a shooting that has resulted in over 90 fatalities in just over a year.

Communities on both sides of the Savannah River have been affected by the outbreak, with Augusta being hit particularly hard due to its size.
