Pat Robertson, the Christian evangelist and founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network, has reportedly passed away on Thursday morning. At the age of 93, he passed away.
Robertson’s death was confirmed Thursday morning by the CBN network.
At present, the cause of death remains unknown.
Robertson, who was a familiar face in American households for more than five decades, gained widespread recognition for his popular TV program, the “700 Club.”
According to the Associated Press, Robertson’s business ventures included Regent University, a Virginia Beach-based evangelical Christian institution, the American Center for Law and Justice, which advocates for the First Amendment rights of religious individuals, and Operation Blessing, a global humanitarian organization.
