According to local authorities, an early morning shooting in central North Carolina has resulted in the death of two men and left two others injured. As of now, there have been no arrests made in relation to the incident and the police have not disclosed any details regarding a potential suspect.
According to the Fayetteville Police Department, a shooting was reported in Fayetteville, which is situated approximately 60 miles south of Raleigh. Officers responded to the call before 3:30 a.m. local time.
According to a news release by the department, upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered four victims who had sustained gunshot wounds. According to authorities, the victims have not been identified, but it has been confirmed that all four individuals were male.
According to reports, two individuals were declared deceased upon arrival of emergency services at the location of the incident. According to reports, two additional individuals were transported by EMS to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Officers from the FPD were dispatched to the 700 block of Rembrandt Dr after receiving reports of a shooting. Four males were found by officers, all of whom were suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to a news release issued by the Fayetteville Police Department at approximately 7 a.m. ET on Wednesday regarding the shooting incident, one of the victims who sustained injuries is currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital.
The injuries sustained by the victim are reportedly not life-threatening. According to the release, the second injured individual was hospitalized in critical condition at the time.
Currently, an active investigation is underway into the shooting, which authorities are treating as a homicide.
